However, the integration of Alegra with HubSpot presented challenges. There was a lack of data synchronization with HubSpot, architectural issues in the CRM, disorganization among teams, and data duplication.

Although AMVO had previously collaborated with another agency for 12 months, the integration had not been implemented effectively.

  • Bidirectional Communication Between Alegra and HubSpot

This significant improvement in bidirectional communication has led to greater integration and synchronization of operations between both platforms. For example, an automated flow was generated to manage transitions of deals in the pipeline.


When a deal is marked as Won in HubSpot, it is automatically transferred to the Quotes section in Alegra. At that moment, the corresponding invoice is generated, and the associated payment is processed. Once these actions are completed, the deal automatically moves to the Invoiced stage in HubSpot.


This automated process ensures perfect synchronization between both systems, eliminating the need for manual changes and providing an accurate and up-to-date view of the status of deals at all times.

 

  • Team Alignment: There is no longer a need to depend on each other to make changes

This alignment has significantly improved the invoice update process, without requiring constant consultation among teams to validate payments. Previously, each invoice update involved extensive communication and consultation to ensure payments were correctly recorded. Now, a more efficient and automated workflow has been established.

AMVO used to spend a lot of time on repetitive tasks, which took away time from focusing on actions that positively impact the customer. However, thanks to the integration of HubSpot with their billing system Alegra, AMVO now has more time to efficiently plan strategies, run campaigns with their affiliates, and segment better to provide personalized service.
